Slavonic is the liturgical language of both Ukraine and Russia. Psalm 69 is a prayer for deliverance voiced from the edge of hopelessness. The people of both countries have past and present reasons for making such a prayer. This piece features selected verses from the psalm that I hope are meaningful and relevant.
